 Jordan found out if he had made the Veiwmont soccer team the same night as Mary's first performance. She had no way of knowing until after the show.  When she did have the chance, Mary blew passed everyone else, ran up to Jordan and asked anxiously, "Did you make the team?!" When she found he had, she gave him a huge hug. Turns out she had been stressed out about it all evening. 

We were all so proud of Mary when she got the role of Marta in the Sound of Music at Centerpoint. Competition at auditions had been fierce, and rehearsals were long and sometimes difficult, but Mary worked very hard and had a blast. She did an incredible job and we were all so proud of her.

Science Fair

Mary participated in the 4th grade science fair this year. Her project, "The Yeast in Bread, involved capturing and developing her new yeast culture (with which we made pancakes.) These are some pics Dad took for her display. 

Thanksgiving 2013

First Snow

The first snow day finally happened and you better believe Mary and Christian were eager to be out in it. They ran out immediately to shovel the tramp.

 As you can see, she is darling, and was in high demand the whole evening. 

Halloween 2012

 Mom was hit with a stroke of brilliance- making these darling shoe covers for Mary's flats.

 I just had to include a picture of Ryan! Mary has good taste, though he is a Ute fan. He's polite, friendly...Honestly, a lot like Mary.

Mary fell in love with this genie costume at the store, so Mommy bought it for her birthday. She was so excited to wear it for the Halloween parade at her school. The parade is one of the students' favorite traditions.  

Jojo's Birthday

Mary came up with a truly sweet gift for Jordan's birthday; a personalized candy poster. It was seriously cute, and she spent a long time on it. He was thrilled.
