First Snow

This is a pic from the first snow of a couple years ago. Mary, Sarah, and Christian were all revved up for a day of snowmen, snow angels, and hot chocolate of course! 

Up, Up, and Away

Mary's PTA "Reflections" entry for 2012. She worked so hard. Mommy wished that she'd begun it a little earlier though; she began it the day before all entries were due. Her little diorama did well in the competition, and everyone commented on what a cute job she did. 

Valentines

For Valentines 2012, Mary took these pictures for her class valentine exchange. Mommy punched holes by her fist and then put in a sucker so Mary seemed to be holding out a lollipop. Her valentines were a big hit with her class.

The summit of Inspiration Peak

 decisions, decisions! 

 These two fight like cats and dogs, but they are still so sweet together. 

 Jordan came up with this game to play at our campground; "Knock each other off the log." 

 It was harder than it looks! 

 These lucky ducks got the easy way out; they rode a boat to Inspiration Peak. Mommy, Jordan, and Sarah walked.

 Success! No falling in the lake today thank heavens. 

Sarah hated the fact that the "huckleberries" we'd been picking all the way up weren't huckleberries at all!

 Mary wasn't a happy camper (ha ha) when she realized that we'd have to hike to the summit. (No more boat rides!

The Best Coach

This is 

Daddy has been coaching Mary's soccer team the past few years. This from the team party at the end of the soccer season. Dad spotlighted each of the girls, and they were tickled. This is from their first year playing together- when they were the bees! Mary was pretty enthusiastic about when doing their team cheer; "Float like a butterfly, sting like a bee! Go---Bees! (left to right; Mary, Dad, Katie, Lauren, Janie, Gabrielle, Brooke, Miriam, and Allie.)
