It's so much fun to look back on these old photos and realize how much, and how little, our MarMar has changed!

Baptism Photos

Of course, Mary is almost ten now, but I couldn't find these beautiful photos until now. It was such a special day, and I think these photos perfectly express Mary's chipper and naturally sweet personality.

Sarah: One of the sweetest parts of Mary's baptism for me was her pure excitement. She truly understood what was taking place and the promises she was making, and was nothing short of ecstatic about it. At the last minute, we got stuck with holding Mary's baptism program in tiny empty classroom. Everyone was cramped and the tiny keyboard didn't have all the notes needed for Jordan's hymns, but the spirit was still there and it was very strong. I am so proud of her.

Camping

 Sarah and Mary head out
 the valiant hikers
Mary performs her favorite (and Mommy's least favorite) trick; standing up in the kayak.

As an end of Summer hurrah, Mom and Dad took the family up to Bear Lake for an overnight camping trip. It rained overnight, but everyone still managed to have loads of fun.

Our Drama Queen

 Buff Chic
 Lovin' the Camera
 Too Cool for Words
(Um, nobody knows what this is)
We love sweet little Mary's surprising spunk. It makes life fun at our house. Sarah asked Mary to pose for a picture, and this was the result the result. Christian, never to be left out of the limelight for long, immediately began "photo-bombing." Mary just went with it.

"Only Once!"

It's a long running joke between Sarah and Mary that Mary never sneezes once (honestly, once we counted eight in row). So when she only sneezed once at dinner, she instantly made this face at Sarah. It was too funny not to capture.
