The Christkindl Festival

We all enjoyed this little German festival in Salt Lake. We were all a little skeptic of the authenticity of the pizza booth, and Mary thought walking past the hot chocolate and scone booths was torture, but everyone had fun anyway.

Cabin Trip

Mary's evaluation of ice fishing, "Kind of interesting," code for "Really boring but I want to humor Dad."
Mary was the one to spot this cute little guy sunning himself on the porch steps.
Mary sweetly took care of Christian after he crashed while sledding.

It's A Hard Knock Life

Mary was an stinkin' cute orphan in her school play this year; Annie Junior. All in attendance loved it, and were particularly entertained when "Daddy Warbucks," a third grader, had to carry "Annie," a fifth grader, off the stage. Mary was awesome, and we were very proud of all her hard work.

A Snow Day

A fun day full of snow, cold noses, hot chocolate, and not-so-successful snow angels.

Temple Square

To Mary, Jordan was an unwelcome interloper in this photo.
"Let's do another one Dad. Without Jordan."

Gingerbread Houses

Deep concentration (Or pretending not to notice being photographed)

The finished product; a gingerbread house too cute to eat.
